Color masterbatch, also known as color seed, is a new type of polymer material specific colorant, also known as pigment preparation, mainly used in plastics. Color masterbatch is composed of three basic elements: pigment or dye, carrier, and additive. It is an aggregate made by uniformly attaching a super constant pigment to a resin, so its tinting strength is higher than that of the pigment itself. When processing, a small amount of color masterbatch and uncolored resin can be mixed to achieve the designed pigment concentration of the colored product.
The color masterbatch has a full color, good dispersibility, strong tinting strength, and excellent light fastness and thermal stability, which can meet the demanding color requirements of plastic products. It has been widely used in different fields of daily life.
